Royal Caribbean – “Come Seek”

Royal Caribbean challenged Rapport and its partners to figure out a way to utilize digital OOH to display all of the fun and exciting activities passengers experience on their ships.

The Challenge

In order to ensure success for this campaign, we first needed to find digital partners who had full motion digital screens in high traffic areas, the ability to live stream, and were open to allowing us roadblock their networks for extended periods of time throughout the day so we could showcase passengers participating in activities such as surfing, zip lining, and rock climbing. In addition, we needed to find the perfect technology that would allow these passengers to film themselves and share their experiences via social media.

Our Solution

In order to bring this first to market execution to life we utilized Periscope to live stream onto digital newsstands and subways screens throughout NYC over a 7-day period. Twice a day, for up to a ten minute roadblocks, a different experience was featured and discussed via social media between the passenger and consumers.
