Microsoft has launched a high profile outdoor advertising campaign encouraging people to Work from Anywhere for their cloud-based productivity software Microsoft Office 365 for business.
The idea that you can and should work from anywhere has meant that Microsoft Office 365 branded Wi-Fi enabled hot-spots have been cropping up in areas that you wouldn’t expect to find them since the campaign launched on 25th March 2013. In a pioneering and exciting media first for Microsoft and the agencies involved in the planning and execution of the campaign – UM London, Rapport and the Ministry of Experience – the latest addition to this list of conveniently placed Wi-fi active places is park benches.
Microsoft are hoping to inspire people to get away from their desks and venture outside as London thaws out from the coldest winter in 50 years. Microsoft’s 365 Anywhere Access proposition means that now out of the office doesn’t have to mean out of the loop. They have made sure that the 4G enabled, environmentally-friendly benches in Tavestock; Russell; Bloomsbury, and Red Lion Squares, are the perfect places for people to surf the World Wide Web on the go.
