Clear Channel UK has agreed a five-year sales and marketing partnership with fellow outdoor media owner Adspace 2000. The contract, which will come into effect on 1st June, gives Clear Channel the rights to sell advertising space on 750 Adspace-owned paper panels in Bedford, Telford, Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield. The agreement also covers Milton Keynes, where the local authority is currently tendering their bus shelter advertising contract.
Dave Huckerby, Clear Channel’s Development Director, said:
“We’re delighted to be working with Adspace. This deal further enhances Adshel’s nationwide presence and allows us to help advertisers reach a valuable audience in key commuter towns in the heart of England.”
A spokesman from Adspace 2000 said:
“This is a good deal for both parties and will enable us to increase our portfolio.”
The Adspace deal follows the recent news that Clear Channel has won the Glasgow Street Furniture contract, giving the out-of-home media owner the use of advertising space in 600 Glasgow City Council bus shelters.
