City Outdoor are today delighted to announce that it has won the competitive pitch tendered by Wildstone on behalf of Newcastle City Council to install and operate a double-sided large format full motion digital screen in the heart of Northumberland Street, Newcastle’s most prestigious retail environment. The screens will be live in September and will compliment City Outdoor’s current digital offering.
With an annual footfall of 34 million, Northumberland Street now sits proudly in the UK’s top ten city centre retail hotspots. Northumberland Street Live will become the pinnacle of the new City5 network to be announced shortly.
The first large format screen network dedicated to the North of England offering coverage of Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and Newcastle will house a back-to-back full-motion capability screen that can be owned or activated within the 60-second loop.
