Outdoor Plus, the digital out-of-home media owner, is taking private messaging to a whole new level with an initiative called #message2london. A number of celebrity commentators, including Paloma Faith who officially launched the campaign, will have their messages displayed across London’s digital screens.
The campaign will reach more than nine million Londoners every week, and will be seen across some of London’s key central locations, including Euston Underpass, Vauxhall Cross, The Eye Holborn, Cheyne Walk and the City of London Gateway.
Londoners will also have the chance to have their own message broadcast to the people of London through a weekly competition, which can be entered via a special #message2london hub on the Campaign website.
Jonathan Lewis, Managing Director at Outdoor Plus, commented:
“In an age where so many messages are communicated through private channels we are thrilled to provide a chance for people to talk to more than nine million Londoners in the most visible public way. We are grateful to all the celebrity participants for embracing our ‘tweet on the street’ to help us demonstrate the instant fame which DOOH can deliver.”
A ‘Message to London’ runs until the end of August 2015.
