This month saw Air Asia link its social media and Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising together to deliver an integrated campaign that sought to challenge residents in Hong Kong with an interactive fill-in-the-blanks quiz.
The Out-of-Home campaign aims to challenge passers-by to see how much they truly know about iconic places across the Asian continent. The ads have been placed at key bus stop locations, with questions ranging from a number of different topics including James Bond to continental treasures.
The ads then direct participants back to social media, where the answers to some of the questions can be found. The aim of the OOH campaign is to promote the extensive range of routes that are offered by the popular airline, enforcing their message that any destination is within touching distance when they fly from Hong Kong.
