IPG Mediabrands Announce the Launch of Rapport Italia

IPG Mediabrands has announced the launch of Rapport in Italy, a specialist network agency in the Out-of-Home (OOH) sector. The launch of Rapport strengthens IPG Mediabrands’ offering in Italy, ensuring a complete service to its clients that will focus on integrating outdoor advertising, mobile, digital and emerging technologies. Fabio Nobili has assumed the position of Managing Director of Rapport Italia and will report directly into Michael Cooper, CEO, Rapport.

Nobili will be located in Rapport Italia’s Milan office, bringing with him vast experience of the sector having recently transferred from the role of Commercial Director at Kinetic, the OOH specialist from the WPP group. He will lead a highly specialised team capable of understanding the connections between brands and the behaviour of its consumers, within a rapidly evolving industry such as OOH.

Fabio Nobili, Managing Director, Rapport Italia, commented:

“At Rapport we want our clients to experience the future of outdoor advertising, creating campaigns that I like to call “out-of-home rich media”, or simply put, highly innovative and integrated with digital and mobile. I believe that being able to fully understand our constantly changing industry is one of our key strengths. In recent times, OOH has been able to effectively adapt itself to these changes, more so than any other channel of communication, offering a range of solutions to brands looking for impact, cover, frequency, stature, interactivity and the possibility to effectively reach target audiences.

“Furthermore, we find ourselves at the centre of a society that is always changing, with the public becoming more mobile and increasingly connected. These changes bring immeasurable added value for the medium, which we at Rapport would like to position at the centre of strategic planning for our clients.”

Michael Cooper, Global President of Rapport, explained:

“OOH is one of the fastest growing sectors in the media industry and we fully believe in its ability to bring added value to our client’s campaigns across the world. Cooper adds, “Today, progressing technologies allow us to become even more easily connected with the public. It is our intention to make the most of this to ensure we can strengthen our position in the Italian market. Our desire is to create a competitive advantage for our advertisers and the recent launch of Rapport Italia reflects this ambition.”
