OPEN Media have chosen to support International Women’s Day by running a week long campaign across their social media platforms and DOOH screens. The nationwide campaign will feature influential female leaders from across the UK discussing what International Women’s Day means to them.
The campaign will feature inspirational women such as Natasha Jonas, a British professional boxer, and Rapport’s head of business development, Susie McAvoy.
International Women’s Day is about celebrating women’s achievements and increasing visibility, while calling out inequality. The theme for 2020 is #EachForEqual, which will be displayed as a running theme through OPEN Media’s campaign.
Susie McAvoy, Business Director at Rapport, commented:
“Collectively we can create a gender-equal world. Empower yourself and others to make that change.”
Mike Smith, OPEN Media Managing Director, said:
“This campaign is so important to OPEN Media as it has always been a priority of ours to champion women within the workplace, and we are now proud to say that our team is majority female. What better way to speak to millions of people than via our digital out of home network and social media platforms.”
